Our Vision is: Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, First Baptist Church Seeks to *unite in one faith, in a growing knowledge and in a deepening love of God, * be fully allive in Christ Jesus, and * join in Christian Service.

Our purpose is to glorify God in the Ottawa, Kansas community by proclaiming Jesus and leading people to faith in Him through the renewing Gospel of Christ, then teaching His followers to live in obedience to God's Word, and to fellowship with other Christians.

In one of the most famous verses of the Bible, Jesus says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." Just as Christ makes His offer to the world, we at First Baptist Church offer our services to you. Young or mature, family or single, steadfast in your faith or just curious, we hope to see you this Sunday and for many Sundays to come.

Please join us Wednesday evenings for our Chuppers meal! If you wish to be a PERMANENT participant of Chuppers, please let the office know. You will not need to mark the attendance form every Sunday, but can cancel should you be unable to join us. Menu is posted in the bulletin each week and on the Chuppers Web Page.
